If Senator Sergio "Serge" Osmeña III is "110 percent sure" that the husband of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo had a hand in the P660-million allegedly behest loan extended to Roberto Ongpin, the businessman is "1,000 percent sure" that the lawmaker's claim is a lie.
"I am in London on my way back to Manila, but I want to state, as I dictate this by overseas phone to my secretary, that I am 1,000% sure, not only 110%, that Former FG (first gentleman) Mike Arroyo had nothing to do with these loans," Ongpin said in a statement released to media on Wednesday.
