Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel on Wednesday ruled out the possibility of bolting his original party, the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakan ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), to join the ruling Liberal Party (LP) for the 2013 senatorial polls.
“Huwag naman po bitawan ‘yung party ko. Wala akong intensyon na iwanan ‘yung PDP-Laban,” Pimentel said in an interview over GMA News’ “Unang Balita.” Pimentel is president of PDP-Laban.
