The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Friday it raised public Storm Signal No. 1 over Eastern Samar as “Butchoy” moved closer from the Pacific Ocean.
In its latest severe weather bulletin, the state weather bureau said “Tropical Storm “Butchoy” has maintained its strength as it moves closer to Eastern Samar.”
