Aquino wants 'expeditious action' on RH bill, 12 others

President Benigno Aquino III has given the controversial Reproductive Health bill an extra push by including Malacañang's version of the proposed measure, the Responsible Parenthood bill, in the 13 priority measures presented to Congress leaders.

During Tuesday's "very productive" meeting of the Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC), Aquino proposed at least 10 amendments to the RP bill, arguably the most controversial among the 13 priority measures.
