At the Guidotti's residence, Virginia Cruz (Susan Roces) and Marco Montenegro (Richard Gomez) had a conversation. Virginia tried to convince Marco to accept his mother's apologies. Virginia even let Marco realize how Margaret Cruz/Montenegro (Richard Gomez) sacrificed herself and surrendered to the authorities, just to be forgiven. Marco, on the other hand, did not want to talk about his mother because he could not take all the hurt and pain caused by Margaret's selfishness. Meanwhile, inside prison, Margaret felt so alone and suffered from the other detainee's maltreatment. However, Margaret have no complaints towards how the other detainees treated her. The day after, the Montenegro family, the Guidotti family and Bonifacio family are together during the burial of Jane Bonifacio/Montenegro (Eula Valdez). Everybody mourned for Jane's death and prayed that Jane's soul may rest in peace.
